The Husker Shredder & Horse Powered Ear Corn Grinder
Demonstrations Were Successful
For Old Settler's Day Celebration
Saturday, September 28th
Due to the early morning rain the conditions
did not dry enough to demonstrate the field corn picking.

Preparations Underway For
Saturday, September 28, 2013
SCHEDULE BELOW

Lester Edmunds demonstrates his corn sled on Thursday
at the cornfield in preparation for the
Husker Shredder demonstration
which will be part of the
Old Fashioned Corn Picking Demonstrations on Saturday.
The corn sled slices the stalks of corn.
Steve Duer, Glen Swartz and Kirby Zimmerman were on
hand to gather the stalks and hand tie the bundles.
